Zion Lutheran Congregation is preparing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the current church building on 26-27 October 2024.

The weekend activities will include displays of memorabilia, a Sunday church service and times of fellowship.  They are currently collecting historical artefacts, memories and photographs to compile a historical record of the building and congregation over the last 100 years.

The Walla Walla Historical Society Inc. is assisting to copy photographs and documents.  Do you have copies of wedding, confirmation, youth, baptismal, Sunday School, thanksgiving or Christmas nativity photos or other memorabilia that may be added to our collection?  All items scanned will be returned ASAP, or bring them along in October.

A special request:  does anyone have photos taken during the actual building process?  We have minutes and invoices from the building program, and copies of the drawings, but no photos.
